ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Steel Fixer for our precast yard in Newark. The successful Steel Fixer will be crucial in installing reinforcement for concrete structures on a long-term project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Install steel reinforcement for concrete foundations and beams - Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints - Work to high quality standards and strict safety regulations - Meet project deadlines efficiently and effectively - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Collaborate effectively with other steel fixers and site teams
REQUIREMENTS - Proven experience as a Steel Fixer is essential - Ability to read and work from technical drawings - Strong knowledge of reinforcement techniques - Valid CSCS card is essential for this Steel Fixer role - Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong attention to detail
